The end of an era for thirteen-thirty-livia and the beginning of a whole new Liviadventure....

Hi Livians, 

I have decided to shut down this blog or turn it into a blog without comments enabled from 30 July (六月三十). Thirteen-Thirty-Livia started off as a blog to share our excitement and the construction progress of Livia condo with our family members living abroad. I have never thought that this blog (with so little to offer) would attract so much interest from Livians. But somehow, someway Livians find their way to this site and some actually return regularly. Like I mentioned before, this blog would be little more than a photo album without your participation and contribution. I really appreciate your visit and come back but all good things have to come to an end!

Like many of you, I will be rolling up my sleeves and making my ID and contractors work extra harder with a whip in my hand. I am contemplating to start renovation work during the seventh lunar month while others try to avoid. For this is the best time as the contractors will be very free thus able to do a better job!

For those Livians who have been following this blog for updates and information, may I suggest or recommend another site, the Yahoo Group for Livia, a closed or private forum where you can find info and participate in discussions on renovation, bulk purchase, defects inspection, lifestyle, fengshui and etc. To join this group you can write to darentan@yahoo.com for an invite.     juz purchase my lightings and my ceiling fans at project prices at this place called eWarehouse. LED downlights at only $55,normal downlights at $20.Crystal chandeliers for my dining for $200 only! the prices are so resonable compared to other shops!! would seriously recommend u guys to buy over there.. the guy who is organising this is Nicholas. very knowledgeble and helpful.never met a salesman like him compared to the rest who would want to chop u. the date for the bulk purchase is endin in 2 weeks.from 3 sep - 28 sep. call Nicholas at 98780566 for info. cheers folks! and hope this saves some money for u :)
