Our Livia, thank you. Just checked but still not able to book key collection yet probably awaiting clearance of the two checks for survey fees and 6 mths maintenance (hopefully by tmrw). Will check again tmrw morning with lawyer as she probably received our checks only yesterday which would be sent to CDL together with the 25% cashier's order yesterday at the earliest.
Now that CDL has closed the "open house" (which is frankly for the betterment of Livians as it's a little disconcerting esp at the possibility of damage with units unlocked), I am more than happy that the exclusive invitation to you becomes relevant again...confirmed and double confirmed..hehe

Lawyer just got hold of bank's cashiers order today late afternoon. Gosh, took bank a week to get it out. Despite help from my lawyer to rush all payments and documents down to CDL's solicitors before 5pm, all the slots for keys collection tmrw were taken up. After an hour of ding donging and haggling (from 5pm to 6pm) with the CDL manager, the earliest slot is coming Monday morning. Good thing I am not "pantang" about the 7the lunar moon thingy.
Your lawyer is already very nice to rush for you. My lawyer is hopeless, not even on the CPF panel, certainly wont bother to rush for me.. As I wanna use my CPF funds I had to rush to the other lawyer's firm to collect the cashier's order and then to CDL's lawyers during lunchtime today.. Actually tried asking them to book a slot for me on Thu but the response was "we have to receive the money first".. ya i understand sigh.. then after the mad rush, I was told the same thing - no more slots for fri sigh, i do kinda mind the 7th month thingy :(

Unless we can afford to wait out that month, perhaps for those of us who got caught with key collection in the 7th lunar month then the next best thing would be to choose an auspicious day for the key collection within the 7th month? For me though I am collecting keys in the 7th month I am moving in only on 1Sept which happens to fall on the 4th day of the 8th lunar month.
CDL should consider a goodwill gesture by holding owners-only open house over the next few Sundays till all Livians have been issued the letters for key collection. After all, the "delay" for the 25% payment after TOP was not the fault of those Livians who have yet to be issued the letters by CDL's solicitors. This is what I called Dedicated to Surpassing Expectations..it's about service, service and service.
Common CDL..lead the pack by showing what's meant by real Dedication, what's meant by real Service Beyond Expectations...this suggestion for an exemplary PR exercise should be charged a consultancy fee..but for the sake of our Livians will give it FOC. Common, common, common, Just Do It, CDL.
Hi my unit is also in Block 69. Spoke to Livia today and it seems that the letter to our lawyer will be dispatched last week of August which is the week of 29th. And then payment and then scheduling of the key collection. Dont see it happenning before the first week of September.
Believe you are right. Today (Wed 10 Aug) still saw workers doing some touching ups to the blocks closest to the Api Api river.
For the other blocks workers were painstakingly spraying the windows, pane by pane, with glass liquid cleanser and then cleaning it off with a rubber wiper followed by polishing with a dry cloth.
My unit did feel like it had a thorough wipe down when we entered after collecting the keys.
So still a month to go. Have any of you received keys for E2 type unit as mine is E2, or even E1 as they are similar and can I take a look as it seems I cant plan anything until and unless I see the unit. Thanks
