I used the floor plan with scale (from CDL). You don't need an actual floor plan to start your space planning as your ID will scale it up for you. The actual one might vary but the different would be negligible. On top of that, your contractor will need to take the actual measurement before they start any work.
You can download the floor plan with scale from the "Livia Floor Plan" post dated 4 March 2011 in this blog. If your unit type is not there, call CDL to request one.
The above is the design of your id firm? those you listed in your blog have you used them before, would like to know so that I dont have to hunt for a good one.. just need to pick from here.. heheheh
I compared design quotes from the 2 ID firms listed in my blog - one was referred by a friend (checked out her condo and like the work) and the other one I used their service before. Both I deal with the owner directly. The above design (which I like) is from one of them. Drop me a note at benloh168@yahoo.com.sg and i will reply with their contact info.
I think the planter will be abt half a feet lower than the hall floor like a step down, thus if u r planning to use it as a balcony then u have to level it up usually with chengah wood or u can put pebble up to yr liking..
Ceiling fan is space saving, neat and very effective especially during hot weather (everyday is hot day in Singapore). Unless you prefer air-con over fan, If not, personally i would prefer ceiling fan over standing/tower fan.
Find ceiling fan more effective for cooling the place and it gives much better air circulation.
The planter is about knee depth. As for Type C1a, the living room planter is approx 403cm by 83cm, and for the master bed room it is approx 285cm by 83cm.
For lights and ceiling fans I still find Chan Huat from Balestier Road seems to have a wider range and service isn't that bad too. Worth a check.
